How to Get to Istanbul City

Istanbul was once the ancient capital city named Constantinople. It has two international airports.  Ataturk and Sabiha Gokcen International Airports serve daily flights from many world airline hubs, as well as internal flights inside Turkey.  The Turkish Havas firm operates a frequent service of shuttle buses from the airports into the city of Istanbul.  Terminal to terminal services are provided free.  From the airport a 24 hour underground train service is available, or you may opt for an express Metrobus service connecting the whole city.
