Çalış Beach is 5 kilometres away from the city centre. It has a long beach line. Particularly during the summer season, it is a beautiful alternative for those seeking refreshment in gentle breeze. It is a magnificent place to swim in day time when it is very hot and to enjoy dinner in the evening by watching the sunset.

Çalış Beach is one of the unique places where you can watch the sunset from a great vantage point as the sun goes down slowly and beautifully. The beach is also convenient for water sports. It is one of the rare natural habitats of endangered sea turtles, called caretta caretta. This is the beach where caretta carettas leave their eggs for incubation. To protect the natural habitat of these sea turtles, a number of measures have been taken along this beach. For this reason, it is one of the most important destinations.
